A Beacons alternative for professionals who sell
Beacons is a strong all-in-one for creators: link in bio, store, media kit and email. Its pricing has a twist that matters if you sell: on the two cheapest plans, Beacons takes 9% of every sale. Here's an honest comparison, with the numbers.

Beacons' plans and fees, in plain numbers
Per Beacons' help centre on 2026-10-21: the Free plan and the Creator plan ($10 a month or $100 a year) carry a 9% Beacons fee on sales, though Creator invoices are 0%. Creator Plus ($30 a month or $300 a year) and Creator Max ($90 a month or $900 a year) have a 0% Beacons fee. Payment processing from Stripe or PayPal is charged on top on every plan.
The crossover is easy to work out. At 9%, the fee on $334 of monthly sales is about $30, the price of Creator Plus. Sell less than that and the free plan's fee is cheaper than upgrading; sell more and you're better off paying the subscription.
Where Beacons is the better tool
Pick Beacons if most of these are true:
- Brand deals are a real part of your income and you want a media kit that updates itself.
- You want to send a newsletter from the same tool as your store.
- Your audience already follows you and comes to buy, not to evaluate whether to hire you.
Where featurd is the better tool
featurd is built for links that get read by people making a decision about you: a client comparing three freelancers, a recruiter checking a resume claim, a buyer deciding if your template is worth it. The page shows work and proof first, because that's what those readers need.
Ivo drafts the whole page from your LinkedIn, resume, site or Linktree, so you start with your experience, projects and results written up rather than an empty store.
On fees: featurd takes 0% of your sales. Free products work on every plan; paid products are a Pro feature and are charged through your own Stripe or Razorpay account, so money lands with you minus only the processor's fee. Indian buyers can pay by UPI through Razorpay.
You also get things Beacons isn't built around: tracked links that tell you when a specific person opened the page you sent them (time, device and country, never their identity), a Message me chat on Pro where Ivo can draft replies, and optional follow-up nudges so warm leads don't go cold.
Using both
Some creators keep Beacons for the media kit and newsletter and use featurd as the page they send to clients and employers. If you do, link each from the other and keep your name, photo and headline identical so search engines and AI assistants understand they're the same person.
Switching from Beacons
There's no Beacons importer yet. The quickest path:
- Start featurd with your LinkedIn PDF or resume so Ivo drafts your work and experience.
- Paste your Beacons URL as your website; Ivo reads the public links and adds them.
- Recreate products: digital downloads, e-books, templates or sessions. Free ones go live straight away; connect Stripe or Razorpay on Pro to charge.
- Swap the link in your bios once the new page is live. Keep Beacons running until your last orders are fulfilled.
