There's no single best link in bio, because links do different jobs. A musician's link sends fans to a new release. A coach's link books sessions. A job seeker's link convinces a recruiter. This guide sorts the main tools by job, with prices and fees we checked on 21 October 2026. We make featurd, so we've said plainly when another tool fits better.
What changed in 2026
Bento, the tool that made link pages look designed, closed on 13 February 2026 after Linktree bought it; bento.me links now redirect to Linktree. That pushed many people to look again. Meanwhile AI drafting became normal: you no longer need to write a page from a blank screen. And seller fees became the main pricing battleground, with most tools charging a cut on their cheaper plans.
Job 1: send followers to your latest thing
Linktree is still the default: simple, reliable and integrated with nearly everything. Third-party reviews of its pricing page in October 2026 list seller fees of 12% on Free and 9% on Starter, with 0% on Premium; check linktr.ee for your region. Beacons does the same job with a creator store and media kit, charging 9% on its Free and Creator plans and 0% from Creator Plus ($30 a month). If your visitors are fans, either is fine.
Job 2: sell courses and coaching to an audience
Stan is purpose-built for this: Creator at $29 a month, Creator Pro at $99 with funnels, upsells, email and affiliates, 0% Stan fee, 14-day trial, no free plan. If funnels drive your sales, it's worth the subscription. If you're just starting, a free plan with free lead magnets is a cheaper way to learn what sells. See Stan alternative.
Job 3: sell paid calls in India
Topmate is the common choice: no subscription, 10% of sales through your own link and 20% through its marketplace, per its pricing page. The marketplace can bring buyers you wouldn't find yourself. At steady volume a flat subscription with 0% fees costs less; our guide to selling digital products in India covers UPI, GST and payouts.
Job 4: a one-page site you design yourself
Carrd: free to start, Pro Lite $9 a year, Pro Standard from $19 with custom domains. Maximum control, minimum price, and all the writing and integration is yours. Taplink sits nearby with blocks for prices, forms and payments, a free Basic plan and regional pricing; it suits small businesses taking orders from Instagram. See Carrd alternative and Taplink alternative.
Job 5: get hired or win clients
This is the job most link tools ignore, and the one featurd is built for. Recruiters and clients need proof (projects with outcomes, experience, reviews), a price or availability signal, and a quick way to act. Ivo drafts that page from your LinkedIn, resume, site or Linktree in about a minute, in one of 32 looks or one you describe.
It also does what happens after the click: bookings synced with Google Calendar, lead capture into a pipeline, products (free on every plan, paid on Pro through your own Stripe or Razorpay at 0% fee), a Message me chat on Pro where Ivo drafts replies, tracked links that show when a specific person opened your page (time, device, country) and optional follow-up nudges.

How to decide
Write down who opened your link in the last month and what you wanted them to do. If it's fans and "watch this", stay simple. If it's buyers and "buy this", pick by fees and funnels. If it's clients or recruiters and "hire me", pick the tool that shows proof and tells you when they looked. Then spend your effort on the content: one clear headline, three pieces of proof, one button. Our guide to link in bio for professionals covers that part.
