A bento.me alternative, now that Bento has closed
Bento made link in bio pretty: a grid of tiles that looked like you cared. It closed on 13 February 2026, two years after Linktree bought it, and bento.me links now redirect to Linktree. If you're still deciding where to go, this page compares the real options honestly, including staying with Linktree.

What actually happened to Bento
Linktree acquired Bento in 2023. In December 2025 it announced that Bento would shut down on 13 February 2026, that Bento accounts and data would be deleted, and that bento.me links would redirect to Linktree. Linktree offered a migration path into its own product and has since added visual layouts and content blocks inspired by Bento.
That leaves three groups of people: those who moved to Linktree, those who exported their Bento data and haven't rebuilt anywhere, and those whose old bento.me link is still in a bio somewhere, quietly sending visitors to a page that isn't theirs. If you're in the last group, change that link first, whatever tool you pick.
What Bento users liked, and what to look for now
When people describe why they chose Bento, it usually comes down to four things. Use them as a checklist for any replacement:
- It looked designed without design work. Tiles snapped into a grid and the page felt like a small personal site rather than a stack of buttons.
- It showed things, not just linked to them: a Spotify embed, a map, a GitHub contribution graph, a photo.
- It was free and fast to set up.
- It felt personal. A Bento page said something about you before anyone clicked.
Your realistic options
Linktree is the default because the redirect sends you there. Its newer layouts borrow from Bento, and it has the most integrations. It's still built around a list of links for followers, and selling on its lower tiers carries a seller fee, so check its pricing page for your region.
Carrd is the pick if you enjoyed arranging things and want full control of a one-page site for a few dollars a year. You design it yourself; nothing is drafted for you. See our Carrd alternative page for the trade-offs.
Taplink and own.page both pitch themselves to former Bento users with grid-style blocks. Both are worth a look if a tile grid is the main thing you miss.
featurd is the pick if your link is read by people deciding something about you: clients, recruiters, collaborators, buyers. Ivo, our AI, rebuilds your Bento from the export zip, then you can keep a tile layout with the Bento look or try any of the 32 looks in Explore. Unlike Bento, the page can sell products, take bookings into your Google Calendar, collect leads and chat with visitors.
How to move your Bento page to featurd
If you downloaded your Bento export before February, the move takes a few minutes:
- Open the Bento import and upload the zip exactly as Bento gave it to you.
- Ivo rebuilds your links, sections, text and images on a new page, keeping your order.
- Pick a look. Bento (tidy cards) is closest to what you had; Aurora Glass and Clay keep the soft, tiled feel with more colour.
- Publish at featurd.me/yourname and replace the old bento.me link in every bio: Instagram, X, LinkedIn, GitHub, email signature.
If you didn't keep your export
Bento deleted account data after the shutdown, so there's no way to recover it from Bento now. Start from something else that describes you: your LinkedIn profile PDF, your resume, a personal site or even an old Linktree. Ivo drafts a full page from any of them in about a minute, and you edit from there.
Check the Wayback Machine for a snapshot of your old bento.me page before you start. It won't restore the page, but it's a handy reference for the links and wording you had.
When Linktree is the better choice
If your audience is mostly followers who want your latest video, release or post, and you don't sell services or need to show your work history, Linktree does that job well and you're already being redirected there. Moving twice costs time. Only move to something else if your link has a different job now.

When did Bento shut down?
Bento closed on 13 February 2026. Linktree, which bought Bento in 2023, deleted Bento account data and now redirects bento.me links to Linktree.
Can I still download my Bento data?
No. The export had to be downloaded before the shutdown. If you kept the zip, featurd imports it; if not, start from your LinkedIn, resume or website instead.
Does featurd have a grid layout like Bento?
Yes. The Bento look arranges your page in tidy cards, and Ivo can restyle it to your colours or build any layout you describe.
Is featurd free like Bento was?
featurd is free for good (1 page, 100 AI credits a month). Pro is ₹2,999/year in India or $79/year elsewhere, with a 3-day trial that needs no card.
